Karen was not only a powerful motivator; but an excellent source of information. I think her strengths lie in the fact that she practices what she preaches and she is able to identify what works best for the client. Obviously, I could not make a ton of changes all at once, but she helped me incorporate new habits little by little. And those habits have stuck. I would also describe her as very realistic and mindful. I think by learning from her example, and building off of little successes, I was able to stick to new changes and was much more willing to try new things. The success has lasted long after our sessions!

Karen is am amazing health coach. She is so easy to talk to, very empathetic, and very knowledgeable about health. I started working with her, and immediately felt comfortable in her presence. Karen helped me to understand what my body needs, and was very informative throughout the 30-day program. Karen was always happy to answer emails with my loads of questions, and never made me feel bad about the way I was eating prior to seeing her. I worked with Karen for the 90 Day Deep Dive Program and am really happy with the investment I made. First, she is incredibly knowledgeable regarding health and nutrition. I thought I knew quite a bit before we started working together, but I was frequently amazed by how much I learned during the process. I even discovered I had a food sensitivity that was (unbeknownst to me) affecting my physical sense of wellbeing.
Second, Karen is very practical. She understands that lifestyle changes can sometimes be a daunting task, and she broke things down into action steps that could be pragmatically applied into my life.

Karen’s 90-Day Program gave me the tools to take control of my food choices and health. It taught me to break my diet down into healthy portions of fat, protein, and carbs, and have a better awareness in general of my well-being, something I would never have known how to do had I not worked with her. I now have lost several inches around my waist, have much more energy than before, and make protein shakes for myself almost daily in order to keep up my routine.

I was following Karen’s website for about a year, making her recipes and intently following her blog when one day, I happened to notice that she was running a Whole Food Cleanse at a local yoga studio. On a desperate whim, I decided impulsively to join the group last minute. I felt quickly overwhelmed and wondered what I had gotten myself into, but dutifully followed the program, found support in the group, and ended up changing my life forever.
After struggling for a full year with weight loss, constant fatigue, and perhaps an undiagnosed hormonal imbalance after the birth of twins, I finally was able to break through all of THAT and feel (and look) the BEST that I had in YEARS! (and, in an extremely short amount of time). Much to my surprise the whole food cleanse uncovered a sensitivity to gluten, really wheat, in my case, which wreaked havoc on my hormones rendering me unable to lose weight. Once I eliminated gluten, the weight and inches just started falling off.
Needless to say, after results like that, I continued my work with Karen in the 90-day-program. Karen crafted a program specifically designed for me, which took into account my food preferences, goals, busy lifestyle, and even my dislike of cooking! Karen carefully monitored my progress, addressed all of my questions and concerns, and took me a step farther each and every meeting. I was always very clear on what I had to do and why. I felt supported, heard, and guided by expertise and experience.
Working with Karen, I’ve continued to lose weight and inches (a total of 17 lbs and 13 inches to date). I have a completely new relationship with food with absolutely no desire to go revert

I started working with Karen after doing one of her cleanses. I ended up doing it for 21 days. Before working with her I was a Diet Coke junkie and ate a lot of fast food and junk food. I gave up diet sodas completely and don’t even miss them. I definitely realized how much food I was eating that wasn’t good for me and was making me hang on to weight. I noticed my skin felt and looked better.I learned from Karen what the value of good nutrition is, what things to eat to get the most benefit out of what I eat, and that I could do all this and not be hungry.

I truly feel Karen did an amazing job at putting together this 7-Day Whole Food Cleanse. There are so many positives about this program, so I will touch upon the ones that made an impact on me. First, this program made me aware of truly “good & nutritious” foods and how they impact your body and how you feel. Eating whole foods filled with nutrition keeps you full much longer. I found I did not have to snack between meals because I wasn’t hungry. I also have just about cut out diet soda and am on my way to eliminating coffee by replacing it with herbals teas. Many of your recipes have become a part of my meal plan for the week. Even my husband has incorporated more healthy foods into his diet (just because I have done so)! The detoxifying baths, dry brushing, lemon water have all become part of my well being. I also feel amazing – any aches/pains are gone, I sleep better, and have more energy. I also notice that if I do eat more carbs, I feel tired and have no energy. I’m finding I now only want to eat what makes me feel good. My carbs, processed foods, and sugar intake have gone way down – and I don’t miss them.

When I began coaching with Karen, I didn’t realize that eating foods that were billed as “nutritious” could cause you to gain weight. I learned through working with Karen that it is very important to read labels to decide if the food is going to help or hinder your weight loss plans.

When I began my coaching with Karen, I was working out regularly and frustrated with my results. I wasn’t losing weight OR gaining muscle. I am a 48 year old mother of 4. I have exercised consistently my entire life and that had always been enough to keep my weight in check. It wasn’t until about 5 or 6 years ago that the number on the scale starting creeping up. I tried several different diets but nothing worked! I gained about 20 lbs during this time.
About 4 months ago, I was beyond frustrated with my weight. I was exercising to the point of exhaustion, 5 /6 days a week and yet the scale was not budging! I tried dieting but nothing really worked.

Thank you so much for getting me back on the right path to eating healthy. I learned a lot in the short four weeks we had. As I get older it’s clear to me now that making better food choices is imperative not only for maintaining physical condition but more importantly having more energy from morning to night. I was never a believer in the sugar highs and lows, I am now. My 6:00pm pre gym power nap is no longer necessary. Energy levels stay consistent throughout the day while losing weight at the same time.
